Day 10 2017 GAETI

Today in GAETI we started the day off in Art it was fun we learned how to cut with and excto knife. You have to take it slowly and and take your time. It is not a hurry process. Then we went to the computer class and learned about how to create board games on excel and power point. It was very educational to me I will defiantly use it in my class. My students can create their own games and play them with other students. Then we had a presenter come in and talk about gameification. It was a good presentation, but it was too much for two hours. He had to rush through the presentation. Then we went to the TK Martin center and that was the most interesting thing to me. I learn some good information for myself to take back to my own house. I also, made some good connections.

Day 14 2017 GAETI

Today in GAETI we learned about different ways to use technology in our classroom. We learned how to use YouTube in our class were we can make a video of our class and then show the students. Also, this morning we finish our video for Dr. B and we won the prize for best video. It was a fun process and if we had the money I would suggest we get it for our school. It would be nice for the students to make a video and present to the students. Then we learned how to make a business plan for a start up business. It was interesting and made me want to start my own business. It was a good day at GAETI and I learned a lot.

Day 18 2017 GAETI

Today in GAETI we talked about creating a business plan. The CD did not work and we just discuss some business strategies. Then we worked on our weebly and after lunch we listen to a speaker talk about wellness. It was the best presentation and I enjoyed it. I am going to take that information and use it for my health. Lastly we did a video with Dr. B with a person from Brazil it was good. We asked questions an the answers were good.

Day 3 2017 GAETI

Today was really fun. We started off by playing with cookies. We had to extract as many chocolate chips from the chip ahoy's so that we can count the chips. The point of the lab was dealing with coal and how much you can make and lose if it is not done correctly. Our group did really good because we made a profit. The next part of the day was spent in the computer lab. We learned short cuts and various things on PowerPoint. I learned how to use the master slides better and I can teach my students. Also, Dr. B taught us how to make faster PPT. I like that idea for me, but I will not be teaching my students that short cut that can be confusing to them. After lunch we went over google maps and earth. I really enjoyed the instructor he did a good job of explaining how to label your map and maneuver in it. Then we did a tour in the Templeton music room upstairs we learned about different record players and so forth. Once we left the library we did an activity outside and it was interest...
