Day 16 2017 GAETI

Today in GAETI we went over a lot of technology that I would use in my class. The young lady that talked to us about using laptops in class and some apps for and it was good. I think I am going to show my students how to use the apps using the computers. I will have to make sure that I set rules on using the apps. Then we created a story using adobe spark. I will use that in my class so my students can do a story about themselves. After lunch we had to explain about our art work through word. In the evening as a group we created a newspaper where we had to find 2 articles  for our paper and we did ours on Technology. Then we worked on the weebly page and I need to complete my lesson plan to update my page.

Day 18 2017 GAETI

Today in GAETI we talked about creating a business plan. The CD did not work and we just discuss some business strategies. Then we worked on our weebly and after lunch we listen to a speaker talk about wellness. It was the best presentation and I enjoyed it. I am going to take that information and use it for my health. Lastly we did a video with Dr. B with a person from Brazil it was good. We asked questions an the answers were good.

Day 1 2017 GAETI

Today in GAETI was a day of meeting new people and learning new ideas. The day started off with an energize instructor that was very happy and enthused about what she telling us. We also meet other professors that was happy to see us and explained their roll in GAETI.  Then we explored the IED building and took a walk to the library. At the library we learned about MAGNOLIA and how it can be used in the classroom. It was very interesting to me because I can show my students different ways to research. Also, it will give my students a chance to explore some information they might be interested in. In the second half of GAETI I learned about the different standards and how they can be used in English, History, Technology, and Science. In my group we discuss ethics and how to use all the standards that were presented today. Day 17 2017 GAETI

Today in GAETI we learned how to create a story using Piktochart. It was fun and I would use it in my class. It was easy and user friendly for the students. I will have to make sure that I go back over the instruction and know the ups and own. Then we created a story in adobe spark which consisted of us talking through our head phones. I am going to have to make sure that I ask my CTC director can I get some headphones with microphones. The students will enjoy this and would love making videos. After lunch I finished up my weebly page by completing my lesson plan which took some time. Then we went to the library and learned about prezi and it was another way to create slides.
